Beginner dive - Open Water Diver (OWD)

Open Water Diver (OWD) is an first-level autonomous certified divers in recreational scuba diving. 

That means  that OWD holds a certificate and  log book as a confirmation of knowledge of theory, confined water dives practical trainings and open water dives experience, suitable to allow the diver to dive in open water to a limited depth of 18 meters maximum.

Rovinj Sub provides for open water divers possibility to dive from the sore in the Bay in front of diving center and also trips with the boat around various islands and reefs to a depth of 18 meters maximum. 

Unfortunately we have no wreck available for diving for Open Water Divers because of the depth.

All divers with OWD certificate and less experienced divers for safety reasons should be accompanied during the dive by Advanced level diver (AOWD or more) or by local dive guide.

As a rule dive trips with a boat for OWD divers take place in the afternoon time. Please, contact diving center to see actual dive program and reserve your place on the boat.
